Arts District Beer Crawl
With Mike in town for the weekend we thought there was no better place to show him around LA than the Arts District and its handful of breweries and bars.
First up was the best, Angel City.
Phill ordered a flight of five that I tried a bit of each with my favorite being the Marilyn.
Next up was the Arts District Brewing Company, which I’ve been to the most, but I don’t really care for their beer. It turns out neither did Chris or Mike, so we played a game of Jenga while we slowly downed our beers. This was right before Chris pulled out the block, knocking the tower over.Next up we went to Mumford Brewing at the advice from one of Mike’s friends.
The beer here was definitely step up from Arts District Brewing Company, but still not as good as Angel City.
Last up was Bar 82 to get some gaming on.
The guys played a level on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles before realizing it was going to suck our quarters dry.
So then we went to the pinball room.I actually got a few free games.
Phill decided to get a second Whiskey Sour, which after all his beers and on an empty stomach later proved to be a bad decision.
At this point Chris was on the brink of being too drunk to drive home, and Mike and Phill were just a little too drunk period, so we called it a day. Chris made a video with Phill for Cristina.
